Verify housing or flange dimensions, retention and shaft alignment using the exact configuration drawing. The catalog describes J7 transition fit generally, with H7 clearance fit where accuracy and rigidity requirements allow; the model drawing governs the final choice.
Avoid removing a recirculating nut from its shaft. Use a suitable dummy shaft when removal is necessary to retain the balls. Confirm seals and contamination protection, especially on UVT3/4 and US models without standard seals.
UVT is pregreased according to the catalog; US is supplied without grease and needs appropriate lubrication. Set the lubricant and maintenance interval for load, travel, temperature and contamination rather than adopting a universal schedule.
US has no internal mechanical stop. Use effective travel rather than maximum travel for normal operation, and provide external limits as needed. Cleanroom, vacuum and special lubricants require individual engineering confirmation.
